The Flex-a-lite Ford Super Duty diesel electric cooling fan is a direct bolt-on kit made to eliminate the stock belt-driven fan. It bolts directly in place of the factory shroud of the 1998-2003 Ford F-250s and F-350s with the Super Duty diesel. Replacing the stock mechanical fan with the Flex-a-lite fan will free up as much as 25 horsepower, 25 pounds/feet of torque, and increase fuel economy by as much as 6 per cent.
